In this study, we focused on the formation and preservation processes of colluvial sedimentary breccias within an extensional context. The studied in work (from Crete Pyrenees) are characterized by poorly sorted polygenic deposits highly angular carbonate clasts whose size ranges from pebbles to blocks measuring several millimeters meters. This study shows that were formed during tectonics spatially associated with large-throw normal fault. They related creation a substantial topography footwall fault followed its collapse hanging wall, leading fast sediment accumulation preservation. These organized, pebble- cobble-sized near slope while mega-clasts, such as boulders blocks, preserved away slope. Such clast organization is indicative dry rockfall process opposite alluvial fan systems dominated gravity involving water. also revealed NE Pyrenees, encountered both flanks Bas Agly syncline previously attributed Lower Cretaceous, first phase extension Upper Jurassic.
